Jeff Flagg wins $250,000 and becomes Re/Max Long Driver Champion with 13 inch Victory

On Tuesday, November 4th Las Vegas had some of the biggest hitters in all of golf compete at the Paiute Golf Resort for the 2014 Re/Max World Long Drive Championship.
On Tuesday night, Jeff Flagg of Pelham, Alabama, won $250,000 and captured the title by a mere 13 inches.
In the finals were Flagg and Jeff Crittenden of Grensboro, North Carolina. And, with a 10-20 mph wind blowing across the range, both hit their final drives 365 yards. Flagg's settled 20 inches past the 365-yard marker, while Crittenden's stopped seven inches past the marker, which is the shortest margin of victory in the event's 20-year history.

For regional qualifying events and World Finals, all clubs used must appear on the LDA Conforming List (www.longdrivers.com). In addition, clubs may not exceed the club-length limit of 50 inches, and are subject to inspection by the site director.
