What we photograph

• Face and grooves. So you can judge wear on irons and wedges for yourself.
• Sole and leading edge. Where the real story of a club's life shows.
• Crown and toe. Sky marks and bag chatter, if there are any, are in the photo.
• Shaft band and grip. So you can confirm the exact shaft, flex and grip condition.

Why it matters

Most online club retailers show you a stock image and a condition grade. You find out what you actually bought when you open the box. We think that's backwards.
