DID YOU KNOW?
The new Ping i iron ($1,080 steel set of 8) is a 1/4" longer in the 3-9 irons than the (previous model) i25 and has a 1 degree stronger loft in the 3-8 irons. Ping’s engineers spent much time optimizing the peak height of each iron as well as boosting the moment of inertia by expanding the perimeter weighting by using tungsten in the toe area of the 3-7 irons.

Ping's GMax incorporates a 5 hour plus long heat treating process which results in a face that is 40 percent stronger than the (previous model) Karsten iron in the 4- through 8-irons for added ball speed. Lighter swingweights in the 4- through 6-irons also make it easier to square the club at impact.
