2015 Titleist 915 D2 and D3 Drivers

All Titleist golf clubs go through this critical step to validate their performance before being launched to market.  Titleist brought its latest drivers, the 915 series, to Congressional Country Club on June 23rd 2014 to give staff players their first opportunity to use them in competition.

The most noticeable change from its previous driver, the 913, is the addition of a channel on the sole of the club.  Looks familiar to a similar design used by TaylorMade and Adams in recent models to produce better ballspeed and lower spin on shots struck low on the clubface.  What remains is a rear weight that can help dial in clubs swingweight and an adjustable hosel to change driver's the loft and lie angle.

Expect a 460cc D2 model as well as a slightly smaller D3 model. Titleist's new 915 drivers will be available at retail early fall.
